Open Water Diver Certification

Started on June 23, 2026

Most divers remember their first real breath underwater.

For some people, learning to dive has been sitting in the back of their mind for years. Others feel excited right up until they start thinking about breathing underwater for the first time.

That is normal.

The Open Water Diver course is designed to help new divers move through the process comfortably and safely. We teach scuba lessons in Miami in small groups so students can take their time, ask questions and build confidence step by step.

A lot changes once people relax underwater for the first time. That is usually the moment everything starts to click.

About the Open Water Diver Course

This course teaches the foundational skills needed to become a certified scuba diver.

Training includes academics, confined water practice and open water dives with an instructor.

South Florida is a great place to learn because students experience real ocean diving conditions while training.

Who the Open Water Diver Course is For

This course is designed for beginners with little or no scuba experience.

Many students start because they want to travel, dive locally in Miami or finally try something they have been thinking about for years.

Why Divers Take Open Water Training

Learning to dive changes how people experience the ocean.

Instead of watching from the surface, divers become part of the environment. Reef dives, wreck dives and dive travel all start here.
